Dr Tania Davey

BVSc BVMs MANZCVS (Internal Medicine)

Tania graduated from Murdoch University in 1991 with honours and then completed a 2year internship in Radiology followed by a 2year Small Animal Medicine Internship at Murdoch University. These periods of post graduate training fostered an interest in soft tissue imaging as it related to internal medicine cases, especially sonography. She Joined the then ‘West Chermside Veterinary Practice’ in 1996 as a veterinarian for 2nd opinion Small Animal Medicine Cases and Imaging.  She became a Member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientist in 1997 in the area of Canine Medicine and helped to establish the Pet Emergency Room at Stafford Heights. Now her time is spent mentoring the emergency staff whilst wrangling her three griffons, 3 chooks and two children. She has a love for swimming, and has recently discovered the joy (and peace!) of open water ocean swimming.
